Newell: The importance of regular descaling your HotCup water dispenser. Your water company should be able to tell you how hard the water is in your area, the harder your water the more regularly you will need to descale the unit. Untreated scale deposits can potentially block the internal particle filter, reducing the ability / amount of water flow into a cup. Therefore, scale can cause your HotCup water dispenser to temporary malfunction, please follow descaling guidance provided in the instruction booklet
